Learn how Turbine's Employee Profiles enable Turbine Users to configure the attributes of employees at their company.

Introduction

The Employee Profile provides Turbine Users a snapshot of each of their supported employees. It allows Turbine Users to configure the attributes of employees in their company, including various properties set during new hire onboarding such as name, device assignment, and Turbine or Approver roles. Employee Profiles Overview

Employee profiles are accessible from the People page in Turbine. To access a specific employee's profile can be accessed by clicking on their name on the Supported Employees tab.

The Employee Profile is comprised of two panels: General Information and Devices. Below is a breakdown of the information you can expect to find in each section as well as the actions Turbine Users can perform.

General Information Panel

This area of the Employee Profile displays all employee attributes, including:

  • Name

  • Department

  • Title/Role

  • Employment Type

  • Manager

  • Location

  • Turbine Role (if applicable)

  • Internal Admin Role (if applicable)

The information displayed here can be modified by clicking Edit Profile. If you wish to offboard the employee, click the Offboard Employee button at the bottom of the panel.

Devices Panel

This area of the Employee Profile provides an overview of the device(s) assigned to the employee. This covers information such as Serial Number, Hardware, Device Status, and more.

From this panel, you can complete the following actions:

  • Assign a device to an employee

  • Unassign a device from an employee

  • Lock a device

  • View Device History
