Learn the basic features of the Device Management page in Turbine.

Updated over a week ago

Introduction

The Device Management page provides real-time reporting for your enrolled and stored Electric supported devices. From this page, you have visibility to device owner, health, storage status, and more. Below, we break down the device management controls you have in Turbine.

Device Management Actions in Turbine

Device Inventory Visibility

Under the Enrolled Devices tab, you can view Electric-supported devices enrolled in Jamf Pro or Kaseya via the Device Management Page in Turbine. This includes serial number, owner, device name, hardware, OS, and health status.

In the stored devices tab, you’ll be able to view all devices in storage at Electric as well as their current status.

Remotely Assign & Unassign Devices

Pair an Electric-supported user with an Electric-managed device directly in Turbine or reassign a device to a different employee. Turbine can also send emails to users that don’t have an assigned device so they can easily register themselves in a matter of clicks.

Remotely Lock & Unlock Devices

In the event of a device-related emergency (ex. sudden termination or device loss) you can lock your device directly in Turbine, limiting the risk of a security breach. Once the device emergency is resolved, you can then unlock that device with the same in-platform capabilities.

View a Log of Past Actions

When drilling into specific serial numbers, you can view a log of all actions performed in Turbine, including locking/unlocking, assigning/unassigning, and registering.
