Introduction

Electric may ask you to back up your files before a remote troubleshooting session or if you are looking to transfer your files to a new device. For customers or end users that do not have a third party Cloud to house this data, you will want to back-up to an external hard drive or flash drive.

If you are unsure what method to back-up your files with, please defer to an internal administrator to recommend the preferred back-up method for your company.

Windows Device Back-Ups

  1. Refer to this article from Microsoft.

  6. Repeat steps 2-5 for all folders/documents that you want to save. You may also drag and drop the files into the folder.
