Introduction

Electric's Hardware Storefront streamlines the procurement of products our customers and their employees need. Product manufacturers featured in the storefront include Apple, Lenovo, HP, and Dell. This article will provide an overview of the user experience.

Electric's Hardware Storefront Overview

Electric's Hardware Storefront is integrated with Electric's Onboarding Request form via Turbine. When completing this form, the Onboarder will have the option to choose between different devices to purchase (Laptops and peripherals).

Once device(s) are selected, an order is automatically created.

This catalog includes laptops (covered by the manufacturer's standard warranty), monitors, keyboards, mouses, and miscellaneous peripherals.

To remove an item from your Purchase Summary, click the trash can icon beside the item you want removed.

Prefer to select a laptop from your current inventory? Click on Choose a Device from your Inventory or Choose a Device from Electric’s Inventory to choose a laptop from storage at Electric or from your company's inventory.

If you have a critical need for a device not included in a bundle, enter it in the Can't Find what I'm Looking For on the Onboarding Request form. Electric cannot guarantee procurement of the item, but we will gladly try to accommodate your request.

Apple Order Process

As an Apple Reseller, Electric will be responsible for adding our distributor reseller ID to your company’s Apple Business Manager. This will enable Zero Touch Provisioning for MacBooks to automate device enrollment.

Electric cannot procure cell phones, office chairs, or cleaning supplies. Chromebooks are not supported by Electric.

Electric can only fulfill domestic procurements at this time. All international procurements must be handled by the customer directly.

UPS no longer allows reroute requests after an order is placed.

Payment is required prior to any order being placed. Please make sure that you have an updated payment method on file with Electric to ensure there are no delays in the procurement process. There will be a delay in order processing if no valid payment method is on file.
