Introduction
Jamf Pro is the device management software used by Electric to automate and provide IT support to end users that work on a Mac/iOS device. To help with the migration to Jamf Pro, Electric will un-enroll you from your previous instance. However, this may not automatically remove your profiles from your device, in which case we would need your help to manually remove them. This 5-step process is detailed below.
β οΈ If your device is operating with an earlier OS version (i.e. Monterey, etc.) please follow the steps outlined in this article.
Steps to Remove Old Profiles from a Mac (OS Ventura)
Click the Apple icon in the top-left corner of your screen.
This opens a drop-down menu, select System Settings from the list.
Navigate to Privacy Settings > Others > Profiles.
Select the existing MDM Profile and click the β-β (minus) button to delete it.
Once all existing profiles are removed from the Macbook, you are ready to install Jamf Pro on your MacOS Ventura device.
