Introduction

Electric offers compliance enforcement options for your company’s Electric-managed Apple devices. This encourages your employees to keep their Apple devices up-to-date on their MacOS, guarding them against cybersecurity attacks.

Compliance Options

You may select one of the 3 compliance enforcement options for your company. Each option has a minimum OS requirement. We do not offer customized notification options.

  • Strict: 14 days notice of the update requirement date. Requires all devices to be upgraded to at least the most current update of MacOS 14.4.1

  • Default: 30 days notice of the update requirement date. Requires all devices to be upgraded to at least the most current update of MacOS 14.4.1 or 13.6.6.

  • Relaxed: 60 days notice of the update requirement date. Requires all devices to be upgraded to at least the most current update of MacOS 14.4.1, 13.6.6, or 12.7.4.
