Basic Package Service Features
Administrator Permissions
All Basic Package customers are allowed up to 5 admins (1 Super Admin, 4 Admins) who will act as the designated points of contact between the company and Electric. These individuals will act as approvers and can contact Electric for on/offboarding support and device management troubleshooting. Learn more about user permissions in this article.
Device Management
Device Management Software: Electric will install Jamf Pro (Mac) or Kaseya (Windows) on Electric supported devices to secure, control, and enforce policies on devices. Licenses included.
Lifecycle Management: Electric will notify you of device(s) nearing end of life, enabling your team to plan for a replacement and keep your fleet secure.
Request IT Support for assistance installing or troubleshooting device management software using the Electric User Hub.
Security Controls and Compliance
Firewall to monitor and block unwanted traffic that may be a risk to your business.
Disk Encryption managed via FileVault (Mac) or Bitlocker (Windows).
Installation Protection.
Idle Screen Time Out on user devices.
Enforcement of password complexity best practices.
Remote Access Deployment.
Remote Lock/Unlock Devices.
Standard Operating System updates and upgrades.
IT Management and Reporting
Turbine’s IT Scorecard provides an overview of company-wide IT health and provides recommended actions to improve your organization’s IT posture.
Inventory company applications, assign administrators, and designate approval policies via the Applications page.
Manage device inventory, assignments, OS versions, and storage location for designated users.
Insights to the status of requests submitted to Electric's Service Desk via Turbine's Reporting page.
Employee Onboarding and Offboarding
Electric’s onboarding request workflow helps deliver the right devices, applications, and access to new team members.
Electric’s offboarding request workflow can revoke access and trigger device returns for departing employees.
Procure, provision*, and ship devices configured with the applications, access, and security policies your employees need to be productive.
*Remote provisioning is not included with the Basic Package. Laptops must be provisioned at Electric prior to shipping to the employee(s). Macs may be configured with zero-touch provisioning (ZTP).
Application Management
Electric will support application management, which is considered the installation, provisioning, and/or de-provisioning of an application(s). This includes installed applications; applications downloaded onto a user’s device. SaaS Applications; applications accessed via the internet, are also included.
