IT Scorecard Overview

Learn where to find the IT Scorecard and how to leverage the information it provides to improve your company's score.

Introduction

Turbine's IT Scorecard gives you an overview of the IT health of your company. To supplement the high-level information about devices, licenses, and security, the scorecard also provides recommended actions to improve your company's IT posture.

The IT Scorecard is comprised of four categories. The rest of this article will dive a little deeper into each one.

Where can I find the IT Scorecard?

The IT Scorecard can be found in Turbine. When you sign in, it is the main landing page. If you navigate away from the IT Scorecard to another page, you can always come back to it by clicking IT Scorecard on the main navigation pane.

Overall IT Summary

Consider the Overall IT Summary your bird’s eye view into your company. The number you see in this section is your company’s Overall IT Score. It’s dependent on a few different factors related to the devices associated with your company, each described below.

  • 98% of your company's IT score is influenced by factors that affect your company's devices Security e.g. Firewall and Encryption.

  • 1% of your company's IT score is influenced by factors that affect device Performance e.g. a device's RAM.

  • 1% of your company's IT score is influenced by factors that affect device Productivity e.g. Low Disk Space.

What's Going Well

These are your company’s top performing areas. This section will indicate highlights for company-wide enablement of tools like Gatekeeper, Encryption, and Firewall. It will also indicate whether OS updates have been widely implemented by your employees.

Security

This section of the IT Scorecard focuses on your employees’ device security, which has a high impact on your overall IT score. This data is near real-time and is automatically collected on Electric-managed devices. In this widget, you’ll have visibility to:

  • Devices that do not have Encryption, Gatekeeper, and/or Firewall Enabled.

  • Devices that are operating with outdated operating software.

  • Number of Office 365 licenses not in use.

  • Number of Google Workspace licenses not in use.

  • Office 365 and Google Workspace accounts for which 2FA is not enabled

Performance & Productivity

This section of the IT Scorecard focuses on your employees’ device performance and productivity, which has a low impact on your overall IT score. In this widget, you’ll have visibility to and be able to take action on:
