How to Re-authenticate Accounts for the IT Scorecard

This article walks you through the process of re-authenticating your Google Workspace or Office 365 account to sync with the IT Scorecard.

Introduction

The IT Scorecard in Turbine provides visibility to your company’s Google Workspace and Office 365 licenses by syncing with your account. Periodically, you may need to re-sync your account to the IT Scorecard to continue to receive these insights.

How do I know when I need to re-authenticate?

You will know when your Google Workspace or Office 365 account needs to be re-authenticated when you receive a message that says “Authentication Required” in the IT Scorecard page in Turbine. Continue reading for instructions to re-authenticate your account(s).

Google Workspace Re-authentication

  1. When the “Authentication Required” message appears in the IT Scorecard, begin the re-authentication process by clicking the Sign In With Google button.

  2. Select your company’s Admin credentials.

  3. This action opens a view to the various permissions given to Electric. Read these. At the bottom of the list, click Allow.

  4. Your Google Workspace data should now appear in the IT Scorecard.

Office 365 Re-authentication

  1. When the “Authentication Required” message appears in the IT Scorecard, begin the re-authentication process by clicking the Sign In With Microsoft button.

  2. Select your company’s Admin credentials.

  3. This action opens a view to the various permissions given to Electric. Read these. At the bottom of the list, click Allow.

  4. Your Office 365 data should now appear in the IT Scorecard.
