Electric IT Hub | Using the New Partnership Email Template
Overview
This guide outlines how to effectively use the provided email template to inform employees about the new partnership with Electric and the necessary steps they must take.
There are two emails - one for customers on the Pro plan and one for those on Essentials.
These emails aim to ensure smooth communication and quick adoption of Electric’s desktop app, Jumpcloud MDM and the Employee Center.
When to Use:
Use this email template when you kick off a partnership with Electric to inform employees and set the stage for adoption of the new product.
Template for Pro Customers
Subject: New Partnership with Electric

We’re excited to share that we’ve partnered with Electric to manage our company’s IT. This means you’ll now have access to new tools and resources that will make getting IT help easier and keep our devices more secure.
Electric Desktop App and Jumpcloud
As a part of this rollout, every employee is required to install:
Electric for Desktop app
Jumpcloud (device management software)
This software is critical to our business, as it enables us to manage our computer inventory across our employees and deploy recommended default security settings that ensures our business meets today’s minimum recommended security requirements.
Look out for a Welcome Email from product-support@electric.ai with instructions on installation, and if you run into any issues, simply reply on that email and Electric support will assist you.
Please complete this step right away so we can finish implementation quickly.
IT Hub Employee Center
You’ll also get access to the Electric IT Hub at my.electric.ai - once your invite arrives, we encourage you to log in and take a look around!
Use the Support Center to submit IT requests (password resets, computer issues, app access) to our internal team to resolve
Check out the Helpful Links page where we’ve added links to resources relevant to all employees
Chat with Gigawatt, Electric’s AI IT support advisor, ready to troubleshoot common issues (e.g., a slow computer or unexpected error)
