Device warranties

Overview

All laptops, desktops, and tablets purchased through Electric's hardware store include a one-year manufacturer warranty. Extended warranty coverage is available for purchase at checkout when offered by the manufacturer.

Warranties are serviced directly by the manufacturer. Check your coverage or request support:

• Apple

• Dell

• HP

• Lenovo

• Microsoft

Setting a preference for warranty purchases

Admins can set a company-wide default for extended warranty purchases in Settings > Device Management. This provides a quicker checkout experience and ensures orders align with your IT budget and policy.

The default setting is opt-in (extended warranties are automatically added at checkout).

Individual order flexibility

Users can adjust the warranty selection during checkout to fit their specific needs. If the selection differs from the company default, they'll see an informational alert.
