Why doesn't Electric set up MFA for me?

Enabling Multi-Factor Authentication adds an extra layer of security to your account logins. Electric cannot set this up for end users as it must be configured on a personal device (your phone) or with an alternative unique identifier, such as a prompt, which much be established by the user.

Once you set up MFA, you will be able to add trusted devices. This will allow you to sign in without a code each time. However, as a security measure, you will occasionally be asked to enter MFA in order to re-verify the device.
