How to Schedule a Remote Provisioning Session

Introduction

Electric's Core Package customers have the option to utilize remote provisioning for their end users. Each remote provisioning session is allotted one hour, though some dependencies such as the end user's internet connection and scope of request(s) may warrant additional time. This article describes how to schedule and complete a remote provisioning session.

Steps to Schedule Remote Provisioning

  1. Sign in to your company's preferred chat application (Slack/Teams) and start a new message with Electric. Ask Electric about booking a remote provisioning.

  2. Electric will respond with a link to begin the scheduling process. Open the link.

  3. A new window will open, this is our landing page that contains important disclaimers and instructions. Click Book Appointment.

  4. You will see a calendar view with the available times for a session. All times are shown in United States Eastern Standard Time (EST). Select a time.

  5. You'll be directed to a page with instructions. Read the instructions.

  6. Fill out the form provided as accurately as possible.

  7. Submit the form.

  8. Once you have filled out the form and submitted, you will also receive an email confirmation with a link to modify your appointment if the time originally selected no longer works for you.

  9. A technician will contact you via chat at the time you selected and guide you through the process as needed.

If the times provided by Electric for your remote provisioning do not work with your schedule, please let our team know so that we can put you on a waiting list for a technician with different availability.
