Introduction
The 'Helpful Links' page in the Electric IT Hub is designed to provide end users with easy access to a curated list of resources configured by their admin. This includes essential HR links such as the 401K site, commonly used applications, and the employee handbook.
Additionally, for users assigned to specific groups, the page displays links to relevant SaaS applications, ensuring that employees have immediate access to the tools and information they need from day one. This organized and personalized collection of links helps streamline workflows and supports a smooth onboarding process.

Other things to note
Only admins of a company can create helpful links (Electric can not create helpful links for a customer)
The Helpful link page will not appear to the Hub User role if there have been no helpful links configured
Currently Helpful links appear to all Hub Users, there is no way to have a subset of links for specific users
Application URLs will appear if a group is assigned that has applications. This allows for the page to serve as an SSO like experience for employees.
Both Helpful Links and Application URLS appear in the desktop app
FAQs
How can I create a Helpful Link for a customer?
This is not something we can do today. With the current architecture the Hub does not have the ability to switch between customers like Turbine does in a secure way.
A user is reporting that they can't see the Helpful links page, what can I do?
The user probably does not have the correct permissions. Confirm that they have the Admin role and not just the super admin role.
Where are the images coming from for the applications?
The image is pulled from the favicon that the website is sending Google. The Favicon is the icon that appears on your browser tab.
