Introduction
Electric uses Kaseya, a Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) software to enable IT administrators to secure, control and enforce default security controls and applications on company-owned Windows devices. This article describes the step by step process for installing Kaseya on your device.
You may be asked to reboot your computer at the end of the installation. We advise you to save and close any work or documents prior to completing the steps below.
Steps to Install Kaseya
Electric will provide an installation link via chat or email. Open the enrollment URL in Chrome to begin the installation. For optimal performance, use an incognito window.
An installation package will begin downloading in your browser. When it says Download Complete, open the file. This will begin the installation process on your workstation.
A pop-up window will appear confirming that the application can make changes on your device. Click Yes.
The Kaseya installation will begin. This may take some time.
When the installation is completed, a window will appear confirming the agent has been installed successfully on your computer. Click OK.
