Introduction

Electric’s Core Package is designed for companies that are looking to completely take IT-related responsibilities off of their plate. Keep reading to learn about the services that are available to customers with Electric's Core Package, or visit our website to compare packages side-by-side.

Core Package Service Features

Below are the services included with Electric’s Core Package. For more information, talk to your Account Manager or Customer Success Manager.

Device Management

  • Device Management Software: Electric will install Jamf Pro (Mac) or Kaseya (Windows) on Electric supported devices to secure, control, and enforce policies on devices. Licenses included.

  • Lifecycle Management: Electric will notify you of device(s) nearing end of life, enabling your team to plan for a replacement and keep your fleet secure.

  • Hardware Troubleshooting: Electric’s team of Service Desk Technicians will help troubleshoot device issues via chat or the Electric User Hub.

Application and Cloud Management

  • Installation of applications on company-owned devices

  • Provisioning/de-provisioning installed applications

  • Provisioning/de-provisioning SaaS applications

  • Modifications to installed applications

  • Modifications to SaaS applications

  • General Application Support via the Electric User Hub or chat.

Employee Onboarding and Offboarding

  • Electric’s onboarding request workflow helps deliver the right devices, applications, and access to new team members.

  • Electric’s offboarding request workflow can revoke access and trigger device returns for departing employees.

Device Provisioning and Procurement

  • Electric will help order and deliver devices configured with all of the applications and security policies your new hire(s) will need to be successful.

  • Electric will remove applications or policies and revoke access to applications and files in preparation for a device swap or in an employee departure.

Security Controls and Compliance

  • Deploy and manage device configuration and security controls on user devices.

  • Firewall to monitor and block unwanted traffic that may be a risk to your business.

  • Disk Encryption managed via FileVault (Mac) or Bitlocker (Windows).

  • Operating System Updates and Upgrades.

  • Installation Protection.

  • Idle Screen Time Out on user devices.

  • Enforcement of password complexity best practices.

  • Remote Lock/Unlock Devices.

IT Management and Reporting in Turbine

  • Turbine’s IT Scorecard provides an overview of company-wide IT health and provides recommended actions to improve your organization’s IT posture.

  • Inventory company applications, assign administrators, and designate approval policies via the Applications page.

  • Manage device inventory, assignments, OS versions, and storage location.

  • Insights to the status of requests submitted to Electric's Service Desk via Turbines Reporting page.

IT Service Desk Support

  • Access to the Electric User Hub, a dedicated IT request portal where your team can submit IT requests. Resolution is facilitated via email. Available 24/5.

Add-on Services (Optional)

Core Package customers may opt to add the following services to their package for an additional cost. If interested in implementing one or more of these, contact your Account Manager or Customer Success Manager.

Please be advised if a service is not listed above, it is contractually considered out of Electric’s scope of support. Electric reserves the right to refuse servicing out of scope items or charge additional fees to perform out of scope services.
