Electric IT Hub | Employee Welcome Emails

Employees added to the Electric IT Hub, either automatically or by means of an HRIS system, will receive welcome emails.

Welcome emails are sent out to new employees whenever they have a work email configured. This email both informs the employee about the Electric IT Hub and makes it easy for them to set their password for the first time. This is important since most users will rely on their email address and password to log into the Electric IT Hub.

Welcome emails will be sent from an electric.ai email address and will mention the employee by name.

Setting the password for the first time is as easy as clicking the “Set Password” button in the welcome email. It’s located just below the text, “Set up your password: Click the link below to set up your account password.”

Employees Have Accounts.

Sometimes, either because of accidental deletion of an email or because of some configuration issue, employees may not see welcome emails. Furthermore, it is always possible that an employee could lose their password. This is no problem, however, as employees who have been set up in the Electric system with work email addresses can simply access my.electric.ai and click “Set or reset password” in order to regain (or gain for the first time) access to their account.

Passwords are private. Passwords should never be shared. Neither Electric nor any of its partners will ever ask anyone for their password.
